Vancouver, Wash.-based telecommunications company Integra Inc. is acquiring Seattle-based World Communications in a move that will give the business a stronger footprint in the Seattle area.Integra, which until last April was based in Portland, provides fiber-based, carrier-grade networking services throughout the western United States. With this acquisition the company will be able to expand its presence in Seattle.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition, which still needs regulatory approval, is expected to close in third quarter.
